Directions:
- Begin with a mug, add approximately a teaspoon of loose tea or herbs (amount varies based on your personal preference), simply add hot water to your loose tea leaves or herbs in your cup, stir with your wand, add sweetener and cream to taste, build flavor and within seconds, sip to the very last drop through your Health Tea Wand. Steeping time usually decreases with wands. The Wands when used properly don’t conduct or eliminate heat. There is a normal cooling down time for boiling hot water. Sip slowly the first time until it’s the temperature you are comfortable with. Add a splash of cold water if you are concerned. You would not drink boiling hot water from a cup use the same common sense with your Wands.
- Until you are familiar with a particular tea, steep for a minute or two, then sip. When the tea tastes appetizing to you, sip and enjoy. Be mindful of taste rather than color. Most teas are meant to be infused several times. Add additional hot water as needed. You may want to increase steeping time for subsequent infusions.
- Feel free to experiment with water temperature, brewing time and proportion of tea to water. There is no right or wrong way to make tea. Trust your instincts and let your individual palate be your tea guide.
- Savor the smell of your tea leaves as the infusion cultivates. Drinking tea is a vacation from the tensions of life . . . an escape to your inner sanctuary! Tea reflects the present moment - your preferences, tastes, and mood. Be creative.
- When you have finished enjoying your tea simply rinse your Health Tea Wand™ under hot water or place in dishwasher to prepare for your next cup of tea!
Warning: Using your Health Tea Wand™ is highly addictive!
The Health Benefits Of The Health Tea Wand™
Your wand acts as a natural extractor, to deliver more of the health benefits of your herbal preparation. The herbs continue to steep while you drink and the sucking action causes more of the nutrients to be absorbed directly through the lining in the mouth and assimilate immediately into your bloodstream. We selected this special laboratory approved glass to insure a toxin free experience with maximum health benefits.
You’ll wonder how you ever enjoyed tea without it!
The Art Of Brewing Tea With Your Health Tea Wand™
Tea Leaves - To allow flavor to develop fully, brew tea loose, not in a tea ball or infuser. Different teas have different weights. With lighter weight teas, add enough leaf. Use about four grams of tea per eight ounces of water.
Water - Start with good-tasting water. Tap water contains chemicals that affect the taste of the tea. Try different spring waters, or filtered tap water. Don’t reboil water because oxygen dissipates, giving you a flat brew. Don’t use boiling water when brewing white or green tea. Over-heated water cooks the leaves and destroys their flavor.
Taste - Experiment with water temperature, brewing time and proportion of tea to water. Trust your taste buds to discover the many varieties and combinations of tea.
Savor - A cup of tea awakens your senses. Be present to the moment. Observe the beautiful colors and unfolding shapes of the leaves as they steep; appearance is very much a part of the experience. Inhale the tea’s unique aroma as it rises from your steaming cup. Be mindful of all the many flavors swirling in your cup. Relish your tea to the last sip!
Storage - All tea has a limited shelf life. Proper storage is necessary to prolong freshness. Store tea in opaque containers to avoid contact with light. Use a container with a tight-sealing lid.
The Way Tea Is Brewed
- Tea Bag - Poor quality. Americans know tea through the tea bag, which is dull and tasteless compared to the rich and diverse leaves that are brewed whole in virtually every other nation on Earth.
- Tea Ball - Slightly better tea. Leaves are packed too tightly in the ball so they can't expand and infuse properly which compromises the full flavor of your tea. Metal strainers can effect the taste of your tea leaves.
- The French Coffee Pot - Tea is brewed properly and leaves are compressed to the bottom of the pot before pouring. One pot for all does not permit personal taste preferences. Not always the most convenient option.
- Teapot - The best way to brew your tea, but you will need a filter to stop the leaves from going into your cup. The same tea leaves can be brewed several times. One pot for all does not permit personal taste preferences. Not always the most convenient option.
